Position Title:
Environmental Technicians: Document Cleanup
Position Requirements:
Our Nanuet branch is seeking to employ individuals to work in-house projects. Due to the nature of our business, this job requires individuals to be ON-CALL.
DOCUMENTS & BOOKS:
TERS provides cleanup training for; documents, legal files and books and document restoration projects. You will learn the process for decontamination of books, documents, magnetic and micrographic media that were affected by water damage, fire damage, soot and mold.
ELECTRONICS:
Learn our state-of-the-art equipment to test and restore electronic equipment right in our customers’ homes or office, or in our mobile laboratory. TERS specializes in electrical and electronics restoration and recovery.
ARTWORK:
Artwork damaged by fire, water, or contaminants requires special care. TERS will teach the uses state-of-the-art equipment to freeze-dry or hot-air dry wet paintings or photographs. We remove contaminants from paintings, photographs, sculpture, and any kind of artwork.
DATA RECOVERY:
Hands on training to work with all types of systems, including servers, desktops, legacy systems, and the latest high-end network storage systems.
MAINTENANCE:
Responsibility includes but is not limited to maintaining inventory, equipment, and keeping the warehouse clean.
Emergency/non-emergency services to residential/commercial/governmental projects.
Hands-on training provided.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have clean driver license. Must be legal to work. NON-SMOKER.
Background checks, drug testing, and employment & education verification is conducted.
